This is a thoughtful and reflective and critical piece. Like so much of radical organizing in the US, i wish it would engage more meaningfully with the slave revolution during the Civil War as a historical model to inform present struggle--this comes to mind with the author's evoking the Union military in Reconstruction. Its the strategies that may be applicable today; and on similar US terrain as the original struggle. Check out Henderson's (2019) The Revolution Will Not Be Theorized to see what i mean.
