By now it should be clear that the Dems will always have a 'good' reason NOT to fundamentally change.
However, we on the left, ADVOCATE, at the end of the day, FOR fundamental change.
Imo, for those on the left who continue to work within the DP:
- continue to maintain and explain to people not only why fundamental change is necessary but also the REAL reason(s) why the Dems won't fundamentally change nor promote fundamental changes in society.
- continue to uphold progressive reform but point out the differences between social 'reformation' and 'transformation'.
- take all opportunities to expose the capitalist control of the DP and the most reactionary forces which uphold it
- show solidarity with the left outside of the DP
For those who refuse to work within the DP because they reject ALL electoral political involvement, I say:
Present a visionary plan for social transformation without electoral political involvement.
Revolutions don't happen merely through rage or 'righteousness' or spontaneity.
However, barbarism can.
For those, of us, who refuse to work within the DP but recognize the need for a national independent party:
- let's build it from the ground or through the merger of other independent parties
- let's support the genuine leftists within the DP (however few they may be)
it appears right now, that we're currently in-between the rock of domestic civil war(Trumpinc) and the hard place of WW3 (Bidninc) A vote for either one won't save us.
It's time to:
- unify, solidify, and EXPAND the social and political forces objectively and subjectively opposed to BOTH wars, and warmongers
- prepare to weather the inevitable 'storm' of both

Excellent article laying out exactly the crisis we are in right now and the imperial we face if we do not organize the majority against the fascists.
